PSIII Professional Inquiry Project

Can digital resources engage parents in supporting student education at home?

Beyond the Classroom was developed in the Fall semester of 2014 by Lucinda Gray as a Professional Inquiry Project as part of the Faculty of Education Professional Semester III at the University of Lethbridge.

The primary goal of this collaborative resource is to organize and provide parents of Youngstown School access to literacy and numeracy resources from across the web.  Each resource included on this website has been evaluated using a rubric. Web resources must score a minimum of 9/12 to be considered for inclusion. Categories include curricular alignment, ease of access and student engagement.

Parent feedback is essential to the collaborative aspect of this project. Parents and community members are encouraged to provide feedback on this resource using the Parent Feedback form on the website.  Please see Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for information on the use of feedback with regard to this project.
